Hi my name is Tanya.

My dear friend Monika just lost everything in a fire on Saturday morning. The whole house went up in flames and the roof collapsed. Everyone made it out safely, one cat has burns on the pads of her feet, her whiskers and belly are singed.  The fire also engulfed her truck burning everything from the hood down.

Monika has three children Jonas, Andrew and Lucy and a wonderful woman who owns the house lives in the basement suite with her dog Bella who suffered smoke inhalation.

Nobody deserves such devastation especially Monika, she is always there for everyone, she thinks of others constantly, she is the best Mom!!! The bestest friend!!! I’ve been lucky to have her by my side at work for many many years. She is a make up artist and has been a part of my team for over 10 years. She has been my friend for 25 years. It’s rare to meet such a giving person like Monika. She takes care of all of us at work so much that we call her MOMIKA.

Monika is now dealing with the insurance company to get her and the kids into a temporary home. They literally only have what they ran out of the house with, their PJ’s.

This isn’t just a go fund me page for money, I’d like to use this platform to let people know they don’t have to donate money if they don’t want to, I know times are tough right now for so many people but if you have anything you can donate to this family, like clothes for example, maybe you have clothes you were going to take to the thrift store? Any kind of donation would be much appreciated.
