My name is Monika and I’m a mum of a wonderful 8-year-old girl, Nela. We both have the genetic condition osteogenesis imperfecta-brittle bones, fragile bones which means that our bones break very easily, even without obvious cause or injury. This disease limits the way we live and function on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, recently I was also diagnosed with another two life changing conditions: Endometriosis stage 4 and Adenomyosis. Last summer I had to have life saving emergency surgery due to severe peritonitis and burst cyst of my right Overy.

To be able to live a more normal and pain free live I must undergo a surgery. A life saving surgery. Without it I am at constant risk of severe infections which will ultimately kill me. This surgery is a high risk surgery and doctors in the UK are not willing to take the risk. I found a privet clinic in Poland that agreed to perform the surgery and safe my life. I need this surgery now as each day carry a risk to my health and life. The cost of this surgery is overwhelming and even with the help of my family and friends I am unable to raise that amount of money in such a short time.

My biggest dream is to be able to go back to my daughter and enjoy every day with her without pain and frequent visits to ED.

I just want to live for my daughter. I won’t leave her. I will fight and do whatever I can to get better.
