Hello my name is John, and I need your help battling cancer.

Last year I had a visit to the ER where the found a mass in my bowel. I had emergency surgery where they removed a large part of my bowel, and half my colon.

The next 6 months involved chemotherapy and a regiment of drugs. I was told that they felt they got all the cancer. I was off work for 3 months.

In the spring of 25 I had three stents put in my heart and was off another 2 months.

Lat July I lost my job. While looking for more work, I'm finding 66 is not a strong point for employers.

So I have applied for Canada Pension and Old Age pension, but that would take around 50 days to happen. So with that I forged ahead trying to make ends meet.

After having some lower stomach problems I went back to the surgeon who ordered an ultrasound. Results, a spot on my liver that they believe is cancer. MRI and CT to be done. MRI shows something, now they want a liver biopsy.

With all the time lost, losing my job, I moved into my motorhome to save money. I am saving money, but monies are really bad. I moved from the campground to a house where I'll stay for the winter. I'm lucky I have my dogs who help to keep my spirits up, who do a great job.
