Monica Quiroga Ginn has been battling cancer and has had many complications. A major complication recently has caused her and Danny to not be able to work in the restaurant OLD GRINGO SALOON in Yazoo City Mississippi. They have had to hire folks to do what they should be doing and things don't look good financially right now. Any help would be so appreciated for these wonderful folks.
Quick update. FROM MONICA The left breast has opened up a little, but my abdomen split all the way open last night. The pain is incredible and the nurses have been wonderful about keeping me sedated/medicated. I’ll be the last surgery today, since this was unplanned. I look like a Venus Flytrap and feel like I’ve been kicked in the gut. I’m asleep most of the time so that helps.
They likely won’t be able to close the abdomen, so I’ll go home with a wound vac and need another surgery once this heals. Today will be my 4th surgery, with 3 to go. So much for the original plan of two surgeries over six months. I’m 15 months into this disease, and probably have another year or so.
Cancer sucks. The complications suck worse. Y’all say a little prayer for Danny, Rico, James and our OG crew.
