Monica’s heart issues and misdiagnosed and almost died.

My name is Monica Smith. I normally work three jobs to get by and maybe go fishing as an extra. I’ve been having spells and I’ve been diagnosed with a couple different things. However, I’ve been misdiagnosed with a stroke and seizers ( which I’ve never had and the dr did not even walk in my room! I left that hospital on a Thursday and went to St Luke’s on Friday and they were putting a pacemaker in on Tuesday. My heart was stopping. I’m just trying to get the care I need outside of Il, so I can be here for my grandkids! I ended up going to ST. Luke’s in chesterfield M. My primary insurance works there but not my secondary. Well, to me I will cross that bridge when I get to it. However I have FMLA WITHOUT PAY. I then found out I’m having heart failure as well. I’m not asking for much, but I just need to pay my monthly bills. I’m just worried about my main bills, house insurance due in 2 weeks for $600 and my property taxes (around $350.00. I’ve never done this. My job will not let me work with restrictions, otherwise I would be there. I’m sure I have more to tell you, but after I left the hospital on Thursday I went home slept and then headed to MO for care. I had the worse spell I’ve ever had since December. I am having short term memory loss. I didn’t even know who the President was. I had to scan my memory and it took several minutes with that and other things.
