Monica's Breast Cancer Fight #teamMonica

Hi, my name is Jaclyn and I am Monica's younger sister. I wanted to start a fundraiser to help Monica out as she goes through the hardest fight of her life. If any of you personally know Monica, you know that she is likely the first person you would go to for help in any situation. She is always there for her family, friends, job, ect. And now it is our turn to give back and help her make this journey easier in anyway that we can! So many have shown love, support, and kindness already, lets keep it going and remind her she is not alone!

Here is the backstory:

Monica noticed a lump in her breast and went to the doctor. They ran tests and took biopsy's and diagnosed her with Stage 3 triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma, which also spread into her lymph nodes. She was diagnosed the day before she turned 33, August 26, 2021. She now has a long road to recovery! 7 months of chemo therapy, once a week for 4 months and then once every 3 weeks for 3 months. She will then have a double Mastectomy (removal of both breasts) followed by reconstruction and radiation.

Raising money will help with the medical bills which much of it is not covered by insurance. She will also not be returning to work for at least a year and a half. I know Monica will greatly appreciate any donations as will her family!
