Help Monica Get a New Cello!

Hello! My name is Monica Fox. I am currently a freshman at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens college studying music education. Since starting classes in the fall, I have never been happier doing what I do and cannot wait to impact lives like mine has been. The only problem is, I do not have the funds to be the best musician/teacher I know I can be.
Since the inception of my music endeavors at the age of 9, I have always known music would be an important part of my life. By the age of 12, I knew that I wanted to become a music teacher and inspire others. My family has always supported me in every way they can. My mother worked many jobs, but it still wasn't enough, and I was never able to receive private lessons. If I couldn't afford private lessons, how could I get my own cello?
Through sheer determination and the kindness of my elementary school teacher, my mother and him found a way to get me my first cello when I was 13. I have been using it to further myself as a musician ever since.
With the support of my teachers, members of my community, my friends, and family, I have been able to work hard and get into music school without any formal private instruction. Now that I am here, I would like to upgrade my cello to one with higher quality but sadly, I cannot afford one on my own, even with the option of financing.
Being able to get a new instrument will greatly impact and help me immensely throughout my undergraduate studies. I could never see myself doing anything else and being at a financial disadvantge has hindered my growth by so much.
And so I am here, to ask if any of you can help support me, my career, and my growth as a musician (as well as future educator). Even the smallest of donations help me reach my goal, which is around $2,000 - 2,500 .
I would like to once again thank everyone who has helped me get this far and to everyone who has given me their unyielding support.
