As many of you know our family is grieving our dearest Monica Ibarra, age 52, who passed away tragically on September 8, 2025, in San Jose, California, after being struck by a hit-and-run truck.

Monica is survived by her devoted husband, Brett Vaniderstine; her loving mother, Tonie; her father, Roberto; her brother, Moises; and her loyal dog, Anna Banana. She was preceded in death by none but leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will be carried forward by all who knew her.

Her loss is deeply felt, and she will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

We are deeply saddened and want to honor her memory with a proper service. We are reaching out to ask for your support in covering the costs of funeral and burial. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much to us during this difficult time.
