Monica Strong

As many of you know, my niece, Monica Holliday was in a serious car accident on her 20th birthday in July of this year.  The accident has left her comatose and in ICU since then.  She has continued to have increased health issues from multiple infections, cardiology issues, and also other neurological concerns.  Additionally, she has required multiple braces to hold different extremities in place due to inactivity and impacts from the accident.  The family has done their best to be with her around the clock since then, but we all know, unfortunately, life doesn't stop when something like this occurs.  My brother, Chris, and his wife Mary, are EACH spending well over a hundred dollars  a week alone in travel to and from the hospital.  The healthcare bills, emotional strains due to limitations from insurance coverage and allowances on certain hospital stays, rooms, or other limitations from coverage we generally don't even think about until something like this occurs.  Additionally, Mary hasn't been able to work since this occurred so she can be with Monica as much as possible.  They have two other children and are trying to keep the family in tact and as normal as possible... as you can imagine, it's not easy for them .  We are so thankful for everyone that has been praying for her and helping the family out in every aspect they can, but honestly, it's just not enough.  We truly appreciate and are sincerely thankful for anything at all you can do or continue to do to assist the family in their time of need.
