**Español abajo**  I have set up this gofundme page to help with the medical expenses that our daughter-in-law Monica Fig is dealing with now in Mexico.  She needs surgery within a week to remove a tumor from the pancreas. The whole family, Monica and the two granddaughters, Amanda (age 17) and Megan (almost 14) and our son Anthony moved to Puebla, Mexico to help Monica’s parents.  Her Dad is on dialysis.  Anthony had to leave his job in the US as he could not do it remotely in Mexico.  Monica recently started experiencing health issues of her own.  She lost weight by exercise but became a Type 1 Diabetic.  Recently, she became jaundiced and had terrible itching from buildup of toxins.  A CAT scan showed a tumor on the pancreas and 2 days later she had a biopsy and a tube was put in the pancreas to help drain the fluids.  That procedure was very expensive at a Mexico City specialist.  Next she has to have the tumor removed promptly as it is 95% likely cancer.   She doesn’t have time to be on a waiting list for the free medical care in Mexico; she will suffer before she could ever get the operation because the doctor says it needs to be done in the next week.  Any donation of any amount is truly appreciated. 

He creado esta página gofundme para ayudar con los gastos médicos con los que nuestra nuera Monica Fig está lidiando ahora en México. Ella necesita una cirugía inmediatamente, dentro de una semana, para quitar un tumor del páncreas.  Mónica y las dos nietas, Amanda (17 años) y Megan (casi 14) y nuestro hijo Anthony se mudaron a Puebla, México para ayudar a los padres de Mónica. Su papá está en diálisis. Anthony tuvo que dejar su trabajo en los Estados Unidos porque no podía hacerlo ni remotamente en México. Durante las últimas semanas Monica comenzó a experimentar problemas  de salud. Perdió peso con el ejercicio pero se convirtió en diabética tipo 1. Recientemente, se puso amarilla (ictericia) y tenía una picazón terrible. Una tomografía computarizada mostró un tumor en el páncreas y 2 días después le hicieron una biopsia y le colocaron un tubo en el páncreas para ayudar a drenar los líquidos.  Ahora se debe extirpar el tumor, ya que lo más probable es que sea cáncer, tiene cita el lunes con su doctor ya que el tiempo sí es un factor importante en el tratamiento, los resultados de la biopsia  estarán listos el próximo miércoles. Si intenta ingresar a la atención médica gratuita en México, tardaría mucho de poder someterse a la operación que, según el especialista, debe realizarse en las próxima  semana.
