Monica Barreda's Family

Monica was the driving force behind Jess, in his own words. The Barreda family has had such a positive impact on so many friends and families. They made us laugh, shared with us their deep love for their kids, and stuffed our faces with delicious, incredible homemade food that Monica would single-handedly whip up. Their love of life shined through as they welcomed us into their home for celebrations, took us out for dance parties, and in their travel photos. Monica and Jess were a power couple and they showed us how to live.

In addition to home life, Monica was career driven! Monica was an absolute perfectionist, she was a Top Executive Assistant at some of the biggest tech companies in Silicon Valley for over 20 years. Monica supported Senior Leaders at companies like Apple, Adobe, Hitachi, and most recently eBay. Monica also had a passion for cooking, whipping up delicious dishes for her family, friends, co-workers, and anyone who stopped by the Barreda home.

My hope is that we can come together and lift their family up in this difficult time. Please join us in supporting the Barredas during this heartbreaking time.

It is with great sadness to say that my wife of nearly 19 years, Monica Barreda unexpectedly passed away the evening of Saturday, May 6th. The kids and I would appreciate privacy during this challenging time as our lives have been turned upside down. Please pray for our families as we try to make sense of why God took her too soon from us. Our hearts are breaking and we are in disbelief.
