It is with deep sadness I am writing to you today about the passing of Monica Marie Barnes. Monica unexpectedly passed away on Saturday January 30th, 2021. Monica led an extraordinary life full of love and dedication to her family and friends.
Monica was the wife of her loving husband Joshua Barnes and mother of their two children, Joshua Barnes 27 and Taylor Barnes 20. Monica was a supportive daughter of Susan Donato, sister of Heather Goudreau and Kerri Muniz, as well as a compassionate aunt, and supportive friend.
Josh and Monica have been married for over 25 years. Josh has been fighting Multiple Myeloma Cancer for five years. As you can imagine, this is an extremely difficult time for him and his family. After five years of a constant battle, and with the endless support from his wife and two children Josh and Taylor, he can proudly say he stands strong and is in remediation.
The family is devastated by the very sudden loss of their mother and have not had a break, especially after the nerve-racking past year. The pandemic has caused the entire family to quarantine for most of the year for the safety of the health of their father.
Monica’s husband Josh is an extremely hard working, dedicated father, and continues to support his family working everyday through his pain. All proceeds will be given directly to the family to help ease the financial burden at this difficult time.
