Money for a homeless TUSD family

Hi, my name is Priscilla and my husband is Jesse. We have three kids in TUSD schools, two in high school and one in middle school, and we have been staying in our vehicle for the last 4 months because Jesse lost his job when his construction company was sold, and I was let go from a medical front office job when there weren't enough patients. Jesse was hired by Amazon three or four weeks ago, but he hasn't been called in to be trained yet. We are both applying for fast food jobs now. We are grateful for the help we've gotten in the form of hotel vouchers, food and clothes from Harbor Interfaith, generous individuals, churches and TUSD, but we are worn out from living in the car. We have been sick and had Covid and the kids have missed a lot of school. This week, we slept in the living room of a friend, but she is moving and we need to leave by January 1st. The car brakes no longer work so we'll need to fix them or the car will be towed. We need money for brakes and to pay for rent or a hotel stay. Thank you all for reading and God bless.
