MONETIZE THE NORTH
Donation protected
At Monetize the North, we are fighting for the future of Canada’s creator economy.
Today, thousands of Canadian creators and businesses are locked out of vital monetization tools like TikTok Creator Fund and TikTok Shop — cutting them off from economic opportunity, digital entrepreneurship, and the evolving world of e-commerce.
We believe Canada’s creators and businesses deserve more than exposure. They deserve the same chance to build, earn income, and participate in the global digital economy. In a time when the world is dramatically changing, digital platforms offer pathways to work, innovation, and financial independence. Yet, our creators and small business owners have been sidelined.
Empowering Canadians with access to these monetization tools not only supports individual income generation but also stimulates a cycle of economic activity. Increased earnings drive consumer spending, which supports local businesses and helps to revitalize our national economic growth. Especially now amid Canada’s ongoing economic downturn and limited job opportunities, existing and aspiring creators and entrepreneurs must be empowered to thrive.
Our mission is to advocate for digital equity and economic inclusion by pushing for the full implementation of monetization tools. This includes ensuring Canadian creators have access to TikTok’s Creator Fund and that businesses, especially small business owners, can fully utilize TikTok Shop.
We are raising our voices to demand change! As a G7 nation and a member of the Commonwealth, Canada should be leading, not lagging. It’s time we claimed our seat at the table. Canada has a responsibility to ensure its citizens and entrepreneurs are not excluded from the digital marketplace. We are a movement for modern entrepreneurship, for fair access, and for a future where every Canadian creator and business can turn their creativity into a livelihood.
