Hello, I am Nikki and we are raising funds to help Pastor Jan Winnale from Columbiana church of the Nazarene. Jan has been serving the church and the town of Columbiana for over 25 years. He has served his community and church selflessly. And anyone who knows Jan could testify to the fact that he would give the shirt off his back to help someone. Right now I am kindly asking for your support-- through prayer or monetary donations to help out this wonderful man and his beautiful family.

On Saturday July 19 Jan was working outside cutting down a tree when he started having chest pains and pain in his arms. He thought it was heat stroke but the pain intensified and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital. At the hospital it was determined later that Jan had suffered a heart attack. The doctors performed a heart catheterization on Monday. The results showed that Jan required bypass surgery that was suppose to be scheduled for later on in the week. On Tuesday Morning Jan suffered a stroke. The doctors are currently meeting to change up his medications and delay the much needed bypass surgery. We will continue to post information as we receive it.

Unfortunately Jan does not have any medical insurance. He will also be out of work for awhile. So any monetary donations will help cover hospital bills and regular bills.

Also donations can be mailed to or dropped off to Columbiana church of the Nazarene. Please make sure the donations are in an envelope with "Jan Winnale Donation" written on it.

July 23 update- Jan was able to stand up for the first time since Saturday and walk a little bit. He is very weak but he did it!! Continued prayers for the journey ahead. Thank you all so much for the overwhelming donations!!! God is so so good!! ❤️

July 25- We have so much to praise the Lord for! Jan is doing well. He has been accepted into a top acute rehabilitation facility! We thank the wonderful nurses, physical therapist and occupational therapists for their push to get him accepted!! Praise the Lord! Jan will be staying in the hospital through the weekend and will be transferred to the acute rehabilitation facility for 7 days! He will be doing therapy 3-4 hours a day. After his 7 days spent there he will be able to return home for about a week. As long as all goes well Jan will be able to have his by pass surgery in about 3 weeks- from today. We ask for continued prayers for Jan and his family as they navigate these new changes. Continue to pray for Jan- prayers for strength, patience, and peace! Jan and his family are overwhelmed by your outpouring of love and support for them. I can't thank you enough for making this fundraiser a success. And for giving the Winnale family a little bit of financial peace! Thank you thank you thank you! May God bless each and every one of you!
