Hi everyone, my name is Mona Antabli. I’m Lebanese, born and raised in Montréal, and I moved to Paris by myself to pursue my career in fashion as a stylist.
I began my transition at 22. I just turned 25. It’s been two and a half years of growth, courage, and rebuilding my life on my own terms. On March 30th, I am scheduled to undergo Facial Feminization Surgery in Paris, a deeply important step in my transition.
This surgery is about alignment. It’s about feeling at peace in my own face. It’s about safety, confidence, and finally seeing myself reflected the way I’ve always known myself to be.
I have always tried to be independent and handle everything on my own. I moved countries alone. I transitioned without family support. I’ve worked relentlessly to build my career and create opportunities for myself in a new city. But right now, I feel overwhelmed.
Living in Paris while funding my transition, my projects, and my everyday expenses has stretched me beyond my limits. During recovery, I won’t be able to work for at least 1–2 months, which makes this moment financially fragile.
I am asking for €7,000 to help cover:
- The remaining surgical and anesthesia fees
- Hospital costs for the 2–3 days post-surgery
- Basic living expenses during recovery
These past few years, I’ve fought hard for my mental health. I rebuilt myself. I stopped antidepressants. I chose to move forward instead of giving up. I am proud of the woman I am becoming. I am in need of help from my community to help me close this chapter.
If you can contribute, even a small amount, you are helping me step into my life fully, safely, and with dignity. If you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much.
with love, Mona
