In Canada, 1 in 8 women will experience a breast cancer diagnosis. Recently, our beloved sister Mona became one of those women.

Last Tuesday, Mona underwent a double mastectomy. She is recovering well from this major surgery and is focused on her healing over the next few months. Her next course of treatment will be determined over the next couple of weeks as she awaits the results from her surgery.

She will be unable to work, so we’re setting up this fundraiser to help her and her family cope with this overwhelming diagnosis and new reality.

Many friends and family members have kindly reached out to ask how they can help, so we thought this was the easiest way to reach everyone.

We can speak on behalf of Mona when we say we are so grateful for any support, financial or otherwise.
