Mona Witter Medical Expenses

My name is Carole Evans, and I am reaching out to help my best friend's sister, Mona.

Mona came to America in 2021 from Romania when she married Sam Witter and became the loving mother of four beautiful children who had lost their mother years earlier due to tragic circumstances. Sam serves as a pastor with his family in Polson, Montana on a Native American reservation.

In early January, Mona began to feel unwell and grew worse over time to the point that she was confined to bed.

On January 17th, they found a large cancerous tumor in Mona's abdomen. They were able to remove the tumor on January 30th but found that the cancer had spread to surrounding areas.

Chemo will begin as soon as Mona is strong enough. She is currently in Billings, Montana recovering from surgery and they are hoping to release her to go home in the next 5-7 days.

The surgery that Mona had this week will cost about $42,000 out of pocket. All money donated is being sent directly to Sam and Mona for their continued medical expenses. Any gift large or small would be a tremendous blessing to this family.

Update:

Thank you for your continued prayer for Mona and Mia. Mona has started chemo and our prayer request now is for strength in between treatments. 

There are good days and hard days, but we are praying for Mona to keep up her strength and weight so that she is ready for the next treatment on the 20th. There are many days that food has a hard time staying down and she is having a hard time maintaining her weight. 

Mia is back in Montana now so please keep her in your prayers as well.
