In Loving Memory of Mona Mahmoud
Donation protected
The students, staff and alumni at the University of East London (UEL) would like to use this platform to honor the life and legacy of Mona Mahmoud.
Mona was an inspiration to all those she met at UEL. She was a passionate and intellectual refugee activist who spoke out about the inequalities and injustices in the world. Mona loved studying at UEL and rising to the challenges her MA course demanded. She was determined to further her knowledge on refugee law and humanitarianism as well as develop her writing skills in the hope of pursuing her dream of writing a book.
Mona will always be remembered for her warm personality, benevolence and determination to put the world to rights. Her commitment to helping others was profound and she without doubt touched the lives of many throughout the world.
Mona will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts.
These donations will be passed on to Mona's immediate family as we would like them to decide how the funds are used.
