Phil Darden’s mother, Mona Darden’s home in Fairfax County, VA, unfortunately caught fire early Saturday morning around 1:00am. Thankfully, all family members were able to escape the fire safely and the firefighters were able to completely put out the fire in about an hour. There were however, not enough time to rescue any of the family’s personal belongings besides the cloths the family members were wearing, and all other personal belongings were destroyed in the house fire.

To lost all personal belongings and home, and trying to get herself back to where she was before, especially during the winter and holidays season is incredibly difficult. This fundraiser is setup to enable all of us at the Hamilton Companies community to help Mona Darden to get back onto her own feet as quickly as possible and also help reduce the burden Phil Darden is carrying as the oldest son in the family.

Mona Darden works as a Night Auditor at a local hotel in Alexandria, VA.
