Mona and Family
Hello family, friends, and community-
thank you for all your support during this horrific situation- we've been offered so much love, prayers and monetary support that we decided to go ahead and open this account for those of you would want to help us-
As you may know, my sister, Mona Montoya, was brutally attacked at the convenient store she works at on Mother's Day at 10:30 in the morning, a man came in and shot her multiple times!
She was rushed to the hospital where she endured multiple surgeries to immediately repair life-threatening injuries.
Each surgery went well and she is now beginning the grueling road to recovery. Today, May 12, they removed her ventilator and she was able to speak to us!
we are beyond grateful for all the love and prayers that the community has given us the support from the doctors at the hospital has been incredible to her and our family!
We know we have a long road ahead of us with Mona's recovery process however we are so grateful that she is alive!
