I sent my daughters a copy of what I had written to put here but they said it was waaaay too long. They were right. Here is my daughters' version.

"Looking for some help with our 63 year old mother's home. She is down on her luck and has been since her husband walked out on her 7 years ago. Trying to raise some money so the house can be saved. The poor bugger has foundation problems and slowly dying from the inside out and this all due to some idiot who put a pine tree in the front yard, before she even purchased the home. The driveway is cracked to a stifling 4 in gap, I only feel sorry for the poor person who trips over this thing and face plants! Please help us in raising $30,000 to save this dying house and a mother who is in dire straits for help!"

As money comes in it will be applied to the following problems that were identified and work estimates given:
1st. - Foundation work $3,300 to $4,200 (11 to 12 piers)
Interior Crack repairs / repainting $1,900 to $2,600
Exterior Siding repairs / repainting $12,500 to $14,700
7 Various sized windows $4,900 to $5,250
Driveway $4,100 to $6,900
Chimney - only have one quote so far $1,400
  (other chimney companies won't give free estimates)

I work part time Mon-Thurs till 1:30, if you have Exec. Office Admin work on the SW side of Houston, I am avail 2 - 6 pm - my current paid (verifiable) salary is $27 an hour but will work for a little less. I have no problem with putting in sweat equity to get the above work finished faster.
