As most of you know mom had a liver transplant on July 15th at MUSC and she had some complications that lead to more surgeries. Total that day was 15 hours in the operating room. She was very critical to the point our family didn’t think she would pull through. After 6 weeks in ICU( which should have only been a week) she was moved to a step down unit for transplant patients which is where she is still today. She will have to still go to a rehab facility here in Charleston. I didn’t want to do this cause I don’t like asking for help. Unfortunately we didn’t plan to be here this long and hotels are not cheap as you know. Between me, Eric and several others we have had to stay here in Charleston so someone is close at all times and looks like will still be few more weeks. Any help is appreciated to help pay that cost.
