Hello everyone.

This is going to be a hard thing for me to do.

My name is Diana, I am 1 out of the 3 siblings that my mom, Julia has.

Now this isn't about me. I want to take the time to talk about my wonderful mom. My mom is the best person and we want to thank her for always being there for us. She sacrificed a lot when she moved to the US. She was born in Allende, Coahuila, and moved to the US when my brother was only about a few months old. Fast forward to now, she is one of the hardest-working people ever. She never stops taking care of her family.

During the past 2 years or so her health has declined a bit, but as always, she never stops going at it, she is, what do you call it? A “chingona”. Excuse the language.

I want to say maybe about a week or so before her birthday back in 2021, we had planned to go to the beach to celebrate her. Sadly, we had to cancel the trip due to her being hospitalized. Some may know why she was and some didn’t know why she was there. She had a minor aneurysm. It was the hardest thing to go through because I do not like hospitals at all. But I manage to get through it for her. Now this was during COVID, so it sucked even more not being able for us to all be in the room with her. She had surgery and I want to thank God for keeping her safe through it. Another month or so passed and she was back in the hospital, but this time she had really bad pain. She had the worst thing ever to have to hang from her. She had to get her gallbladder removed. Before the removal, she was stuck with the drainage bag and had to wait maybe about a few months until it could get removed, because she was on blood thinners and other medications. The surgery went well yet again and she is thriving and working hard as ever.

Now, something I wish was never a thing was cancer. Colon Cancer to be exact.

She was diagnosed with Colon Cancer sometime this year and it was the worst news ever to hear. This woman can’t get a break. She has been waiting for updates on what's going to be done, is she going to have a treatment done? Or is she going to have surgery? We don’t know yet, but all we have to do is have patience and everything will be ok.

I'm starting this GoFundMe page to help her with her medical bills. The insurance she has does not cover a lot of things and her bills are piling up. Now you may think $10,000 is a bit too much to raise but anything helps.
