Hi everyone we are not the family to typically do this kind of thing, however after almost three years of battling lung cancer and with the upcoming funeral expenses things have just become a lot for our father and the family. We know my mom has touched a lot of lives and loved a ton of people out there so that is why we decided to post this.
Whether her love was shown through making all the kids breakfast pancakes when we had sleepovers as little kids or through all the extracurricular activates she set up for us at school to make sure we had a fun way to learn new things outside of the “standards” in elementary school. She always showed a way to show her love for her kids, their friends and the community.
You may have also known her for her huge love for baking and you yourself might have fell in love with those oh so yummy brownies. Or maybe you were lucky and had a chance to have a piece of her delicious baked Challah Bread or Honey Bread. Lets also not forget about that super moist banana bread. MMMMM….
While she was not busy making sure everything was taking care of around the house and having a good home cooked meal ready each night for the husband, she continued to show her love at work through being a librarian at an Elementary school. She would come home and tell us stories with a huge smile on her face about reading a new book to the kids that day and the joy she brought all their faces. Especially the ones she showed extra attention to that she knew did not get much at home. She certainly impacted a lot of lives out there for the better.
All she wanted to do was help others so we are setting up this GoFundMe account for anyone who may want to help the Lang family out with Rita’s medical and burial cost coming up in the next few days in this depressing times.
