Dear friends and Family,
I hope you’re doing well during these difficult times.
For those of you that know me, you know I am not the type to reach out for assistance unless it is absolutely needed. As many of you now know in early May my mother, Jennifer, was admitted into the hospital with what she thought was a kidney infection. The doctors initially ran the standard blood work and x-rays. This is when they discovered a fractured L1 vertebrae in her back. She had not fallen or been in any type of accident which the doctors found alarming. After running numerous tests including MRIs, CT scans, bone scans, and more extensive blood work they determined my mother was in the later stages of B-Cell Lymphoma.
On May 17th, my mother’s 53rd Birthday, she began her first round of aggressive chemotherapy treatment. She remained in the hospital for the remainder of the month due to complications with her back. As if this was not bad enough, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, my mother was also unemployed and without health insurance. The medical bills have already started to filter in. I would like my mother to be able to focus on her health and well-being rather than the debilitating medical bills; not to mention the additional expenses of battling this horrible disease (wheelchair, hospital bed, walker, etc.)
I realize times are tough for everyone, but if you can find it in your heart to financially contribute in any amount, no matter how small, it would mean more to me than words can possibly express.
Thanks again for your prayers and support.
