Mom’s House Lost In Fire. Please Help Anyway You Can.

Long Story Short:

My mother’s house burnt down yesterday and she needs all the help there is for her and our three dogs, one of which can’t walk. PLEASE give what you can

Fuller Story: My mom was alerted by a neighbor that they smelled smoke. Before they knew it, their two homes and two other neighbors’ homes were engulfed in smoke and shortly flames. Thankfully the fire department arrived timely and even rescued our handicapped dog. We later found out that our cousin, Arthur “Squeaky” Kirk sent the help to the address before even recognizing it was his family he was helping. God is truly at work.

This is all tremendously more devastating because my Pop Pop, her Father, just passed away about a month ago and we only just had his service a week ago. NO ONE could truly be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster like this which worsens not just her overall mental state, but her immune deficiencies are directly and physically related to her mental state. Flare ups alone, she’s being put under some constant pressure right now. After determining the house condemned, the fire department thankfully let us know that all of the belongings we had to move out of my Pop Pop’s apartment weren’t damaged We’re thanking God for every victory we have right now. I could go ON & ON about how difficult and unbelievable this past month has been for her, let alone the ones leading up to Pop Pop’s eventual passing. I could also go ON & ON about the unwavering support she’s already been given by our family, first responders, Red Cross, and even the community. If you know my mother, you know she has one of THEE biggest hearts for people and has always helped someone as much as she could, even to a fault sometimes. If you can give anything to help us in this very uncertain time I thank you…TREMENDOUSLY. I’ll update this as things progress. So far, my mom is ok, the pets are ok, and we’re thankful for everything we’ve already been allowed. God Bless
