Mom's Hospice Care and Funeral

Hi Friends,

I am setting up a GoFundMe for Kiana and her mom.

I’m reaching out for support during a really tough time. Kiana's mom is on hospice with advanced dementia, needing round-the-clock care, which she's been managing almost alone. The constant care has left her emotionally and physically burned out, but she can't afford a professional caregiver for a break.

Financially, they're barely making ends meet. Government support doesn’t cover much, and she's fallen into debt keeping them afloat this winter. Her fridge is often empty, bills are late, and their car, crucial for mom's doctor visits in Santa Rosa, is unsafe to drive due to needed repairs.

On top of this, she has no savings for her mom's cremation and funeral, nor an emergency fund. She facing these challenges solo without family or community support.

We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help with:

Hiring a caregiver for respite

Essential living costs and bills

Car repairs for safe transport to medical appointments

Mom’s cremation and funeral arrangements
