Mom’s Home gone - Carr Fire

The Shasta County Carr fire tragically burned hundreds of homes including my mother’s , residing in her west side Redding neighborhood nearly 20 years.
This is what it looked like just yesterday :
And then last night everything changed so quickly. I got a call from my mom driving away from her neighborhood last night in extreme fright knowing there was a 30 ft wall of fire headed toward her beautiful home. Today this is all that remains:

Material things mean nothing in the big picture. It is hard to visually see the memories I’ve had in this home destroyed in this photo.
I know many of the fire victims including my family are going through a tough time trying to find the next steps and continue living day to day without anything , finding hotels, etc. and not knowing when and if insurance will cover the losses at this point. Any support for them is greatly appreciated - something as simple as a comment letting them know they’re  in our thoughts.  I simply made this to share my simpathy for those going through this devastating disaster and raise awareness to cherish every moment because life changing things just happen so fast. Love you mom (Alecia, Harper, and Grady) my heart goes out to you all (and all of the families going through this) and so grateful you are safe !
