Hello everyone,

My name is TJ and I am raising funds for my mom, who requires major, essential dental work that will begin in the next two months. As many of you know, medical and dental care can get exorbitantly pricey. And this is the case for my mom. We have obtained the full treatment plan and costs from the dentist, which covers all the work needed over the next year and totals to about $25,000. We have submitted it to my mom’s dental insurance and are awaiting the pre-determination result, but do not expect them to cover more than $1,000. Additionally, I plan to cover what I am able from my own funds, and we have evaluated loans and no-interest credit cards to help offset whatever costs are not covered by the insurance and whatever this donation request may raise.

Our goal is at $10,000 because we don’t expect others to fund the entire operation. We understand that many are scraping by financially. We have looked at numerous alternatives for funding – government grants, charity aid, dental schools, and cost estimates from other dental practices. Many of these options resulted in nothing – she either didn’t qualify for certain financial aid or we didn’t receive responses and other dental practices quoted us prices significantly higher than this for the same procedure. This dental practice is the perfect combination of price and service – which anyone would want when it comes to something as important and risky as major dental surgery.

I am her son. I want her to be able to eat normally again. I would love to no longer worry about the risk of potentially life-threatening infections. And I want to see her feel comfortable and confident in her smile again.
