Claudia Villela's accident recovery

Dearest friends, my mom and your friend Claudia Villela has unfortunately suffered an accident in Rio de Janeiro. Earlier today her apartment caught on fire, taking the entire unit and contents down, and causing several serious burns to her hands, feet, and legs. She managed to escape from the apartment barefoot, and could only watch in horror as the fire consumed her childhood home and damaged neighboring units. She is currently in the hospital recovering from the burns and on watch for smoke inhalation complications. There was some plastic that got fused to her legs, and I am sure she is in a lot of pain. All of her documents, computer, cellphone, and belongings (including her beloved instruments) are gone. Currently, we are all working hard to try and get her healed enough to come home, but to do that we need your help.  We are asking for donations asap, as little or as much as you can give, to help cover medical, travel, and recovery costs, not to mention the costs of replacement documents and the legal coverage she will need in the aftermath of all this. Above all, we are so grateful and relieved she is ok. It was a very scary day but things turned out alright, all things considered.
