Mom's 3rd Cancer treatment

Hello Everyone,

I'm going to provide a brief at the end if you don't want to read the whole thing.

BACKSTORY

My mother, in November 2020, was diagnosed with her 3rd case of cancer in the last ten years. This most recent medical emergency is bone cancer which had metastasized from breast cancer which she had been fighting for years. Last December she had several surgeries to remove the cancer, including a cancerous portion of her skull, followed with alternating radiation treatments along with chemotherapy treatments, which will be an ongoing procedure. Following the surgery to her skull, she had a stroke, which has affected her ability to communicate and to perform some functions.

Since then, she has been out of work without pay, having used all her sick time, as well as the sick time donated to her by her coworkers. She is not able to return to work in the foreseeable future and has recently been terminated from her employment. No employment means that she no longer has health insurance.

My father, prior to ALL OF THAT, needed surgery for an Achilles heel rupture which kept him out of work for four months. Dad is back to work, but Mom will most likely never be able to return to employment.

THE PROBLEM

The combination of the two situations has caused a financial crisis with cost of living and other debts to which Dad alone cannot recover. Their savings, which is now gone, and the couple of stimulus checks that were received has allowed them to make it to this point. They have also made attempts at refinancing their home, but it's proving futile due to lack of equity.

Dad's income will now be smaller due to absorbing their medical benefits on just his income. He has recently set up health insurance through his employer but that insurance is much worse and more expensive overall. The medical bills continue to come in monthly and are piling up fast.

OUR REQUEST

We are asking for your help to pay off the medical debt they have right now and the expected bills that keep coming in. We thank you very much for whatever support (and prayers!) you can offer. It means so much to the whole family.

BRIEF

Mom has cancer again, lost her job and insurance. Lots of bills and need money to pay off these debts. We are asking for your help to get my parents through this horrible time in their life.
