My name is Nick and I'm hoping to receive help paying for my dog's medical bills. I adopted Moyla (Momo), a 4 year old Belgian Malinois, 8 months ago. She is a sweetheart who makes friends with any person she meets, LOVES playing fetch, and wants nothing more than to be outside with her friends.
Over the past month, Moyla's physical state declined significantly. Only after 4 veterinary visits, and a mountain of diagnostic tests, was the vet able to provide a diagnosis. However, by this point Momo was bed ridden and partially paralyzed in her rear legs. On January 21st she was rushed in for an emergency surgery to remove a cyst pressing on her spinal cord. The cyst stemmed from a severe spinal infection that the vet was unable to detect before the symptoms became detrimental to her health. The veterinarian is hopeful that Momo will pull through but the road to recovery will be a long one.
While providing care for Moyla was an easy decision, the financial burden is immense. Multiple trips to the vet, imaging, surgery, and long term medication racked up a bill well over $10,000. The amount specified in this campaign is only based on costs for her time in the hospital and the surgery itself. Any contribution is greatly appreciated, thank you for your kindness.
