Mommy Baby emergency

This is for the daughter of a former client of mine, Michelle Milton. The daughter, Renea, had a seizure last week on her 30th birthday and left her unresponsive. She was 27 weeks pregnant with her first baby. An emergency C Section was performed to save her baby boy. Renea suffered heart and brain trauma. Renea went into cardiac arrest 6 times. She is gradually becoming more responsive but has no memory of being pregnant and does not know she has a baby. They were both lifeflighted. To DIFFERENT hospitals. It is all very tragic. My heart hurts for them. Baby boy will be in the hospital for months to come. Best case scenario is mother and baby will recover. I offered to help because I know that the reality is Renea will have to take care of her baby and need the baby things. So many things. Imagine she didn’t even get far enough to have a baby shower and prepare her home. Rent will still be due. Utilities. Car payment. Insurance. Etc. And this is without the ability to work for who knows how long. The road ahead is going to be so difficult. I have not even personally met Renea. I only know her mother. But I know the expense of everyday life and that babies are expensive and so much is needed. Add the fact that the bills still need to be paid and there’s a very long road of recovery and medical expenses. I’m a believer that every little bit makes a difference. So many of us have a little to give.
