Hi. My name is Jorge Martinez. This fundraiser is to help us provide physical and emotional support for my 5 year old daughter Clara Martinez. About 2 weeks ago we took her to urgent care. Doctors said it was just a flu and a normal cough. They gave her cough medicine and ibuprofen.

Her condition worsen over the span of a week so I took her and into Phoenix children's hospital. Clara has pneumonia, a collapsed lung, the other lung is infected, and sepsis. Due to her condition, she is going through a procedure called ECMO, a form of life support. Doctors hope the procedure will take the load off her lungs and heart giving her more time to heal.

Through this difficult time, surgeons told us this is our last option of keeping her alive. It will keep me out of work for weeks to come destabilizing my ability to work and pay my bills, expenses for my other daughter Emma, her twin sister.
