Over the past few months, her health has deteriorated, and we were unsure of the cause. However, after being admitted to the hospital, it was discovered that the hole has caused the right side of her heart to be severely enlarged due to the additional strain. To prevent further damage to her heart and lungs, heart failure, high blood pressure, and potential death, surgery is necessary. The best option for her is open-heart surgery due to the size and location of the hole.

Following a consultation with her cardiologist, it was determined that Anna needs immediate surgical intervention, scheduled for December 12th. However, her recovery will be challenging and lengthy, requiring several months before she can resume work.
