Hello everyone!

My mom was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer (stage 3 inflammatory) in December of 2022 and the age of 57! She’s a mother of 4 and a grandmother to 8! Receiving bad medical news is not something new to our family. My older brother has cystic fibrosis and had a double lung transplant at the age of 11! My mom was always there by his side, working full time, and taking care of her other 3 children. Her life hasn’t been so easy and for this to happen to her is just devastating. Her life is her family and God. She is also a special education teacher and has dedicated so much time and money to those special children. Which leads me to this. She has used up all of her time off and since she is a new teacher in her district she does not receive any special benefits. We all know how crappy a teachers salary is as well. She is almost done with her chemo but has a double mastectomy and then a lot of radiation to follow. She has already racked up thousands in medical bills with all of her testing and treatments. I would just love to be able to help her because she’s sacrificed for much for her 4 children already!
