Mom's Trip To Portland

Greetings friends and family. I come with some very disconcerting news. Very recently, literally 2 weeks ago my family discovered my younger brother, Tyler was diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin's Lymphoma which is a form of cancer. This came as a shock to our entire family as he is only 26 years young over the course of the next couple of weeks, he will be having a series of procedures determining what stage the cancer is in so they can proceed with the process of chemo accordingly. For him, he is in the best situation possible by being in Portland with our father getting the best care. Where the issue comes into play and why we need you all's help our mother lives in Dallas where I reside as well and she wants to be able to be there for her son's first few chemo sessions. As you imagine money is short and with this news coming so swiftly there was no time to prepare or make arrangements for an abrupt trip. His round of testing will be within these next couple of weeks and that's our window.  We added up the cost of the plane tickets for multiple trips, hotel costs, travel within the city, etc and we came to roughly $5500. The goal is to have that by June 18th which is very quick but that's why I am coming to the aid of friends and family. If you all could please help. My mother and I would be eternally grateful. A mother having to receive the news of her youngest battling such a deadly disease only made those maternal instincts kick in that much harder. She needs to be there for her son.
