On October 29,2020 our loving mother Thida Kim passed away. Her passing was fast and unexpected. Our mother was a strong, caring, and resourceful individual. She survived and escaped the Cambodian Genocide in the late 1970s. In 1982 she was granted asylum and immigrated the United States. Shortly after she established permanent residence in San Jose, Ca. San Jose is her home up until her passing, and is where she will be laid to rest. In 2012 she realized her life long dream of becoming a Unites States Citizen. Thida Kim is survived by her seven children. Funds raised here will help offset the cost of funeral expenses. Any excess funds will be donated to a charity in her name.
