I'm writing on behalf of Gloria, a mother of four children ages 10 to 18 living in Santa Ana, California. She and her family are days away from being evicted and forced to vacate their home. She owes three months of rent to her landlord which totals $4650 ($1550/mo). Gloria has had two brain tumors and is now undergoing chemotherapy to treat her spinal cancer. This makes it difficult for her to work and earn money, but her oldest daughter has been working at Wendy's to help support the family.

If you feel compelled to donate, please know that it will be going to help support a family in dire need during this holiday season. If the funds are not sufficient to keep them in their home, or if the eviction proceeds regardless of the funds, any money donated will help the family as they figure out what's next for them.

Note: I have not met this family, but my dad, a pastor in Southern California, met Gloria through his church and went to court with her recently to offer some support during the eviction proceedings and to see if she could be given some extra time to come up with the rent she owes. He reached out to me to see if I could help out by putting up this GoFundMe, which I am doing with Gloria's consent.
