My name is Samara, and I am a wife and proud mother of three beautiful girls and an ICU nurse. Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing chemotherapy.

This journey has been incredibly challenging - not only because of the physical toll of treatment, but also all the changes to our lives.

Working in the ICU has been a calling of my heart, but fighting cancer while caring for critically ill patients is a constant struggle. The long hours, physical strain, and constant exposure to infection are difficult to manage while my immune system is compromised.

At home, life looks different now. My daughters have had to adjust to my treatment schedule, side effects, and my lower energy. I have had to lean on others more than ever before. It has been humbling, but we're facing this together with love and faith.

As someone who is used to caring for others, it has been hard to step back and ask for help. The financial strain has been significant, and I am facing lost income, mounting bills, and the costs associated with surgery and ongoing treatment.

Every day, I am doing my best to stay strong for my family, but the reality is that we need support to get through this period.
