My cousin, Ashley, passed away in a tragic car accident last Thursday night, leaving behind her 6 year old son, Hunter.

  Ashley was an artist and she loved animals and nature. She had a huge heart and most importantly, she was an amazing mom. She also had many struggles during her lifetime: She was in a tragic car accident in 2007. Although she survived, she lost her partner of 10 years.  Her beloved mom passed away in 2008 and Ashley battled  depression on and off through most of her life.

When Hunter was born, she became 100% devoted to giving him the best life she could.  He was the love of her life and they were inseparable. The little time she had to herself, she was studying. She graduated from a Spokane Falls Community College in 2019.  Even with her new degree,  she and her partner, Chad, struggled to find work this year and they were having difficulty keeping up with finances.

On the evening of Dec 10th, she made a quick trip to the gas station. Unfortunately, when she pulled out into the road, her car was struck by a truck. She died instantly and never made it home to her son. Hunter lost his mom last Thursday. She was his everything.  She comforted him, laughed with him and gave her heart to him.

We are trying to raise money to help with finances for Hunter through this time and for future education costs.  His father, Chad, is now a single father without a job.  This is an incredibly difficult time for the family.
