Hello, my name is Katchrina Shavers. I am collecting money to help my mother and father, Jeff and Vicki Shavers, after they were rear-ended by a McMinn County School Bus. My parents were waiting to turn left into their driveway when a McMinn County Tennessee School Bus driver failed to notice them stopped and trying to turn. The school bus swerved at the last minute, clipping the passenger rear end of my dad's truck. My dad was the driver and was able to walk away from the accident with minimal injuries. However, my mother had a shattered C5 vertebra and had surgery to fuse her C4 to her C6 vertebrae. They had to remove her shattered C5 vertebra and the disk around it. She has been left completely paralyzed from the neck down.

I am seeking funds to help my father support himself and my mother while she is in the hospital. He had been running a small washer and dryer repair business that helped them make the money they needed to get by. Now that his truck is totaled and my dad has to drive every day up the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, he cannot run his small business where he worked by himself.
