Mom of two beautiful kids with breast cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Jessica Kenny and I unfortunately got some very unexpected life changing news recently... I have CANCER.

When I went to see my Dr. for the test results and he told me I have an invasive form of breast cancer that has already spread to my lymph nodes I was in shock!

I knew at that point I had two choices in life... I had to fight and beat cancer.. or I had to fight and beat cancer!

When the Dr. sat me down and told me “I had a big fight ahead of me” I had no other choice but to be strong.

I have been a dedicated hairdresser for 16 years and have been blessed to have my dream of owning my own salon.

Myself and my wonderful staff work very hard to take care of our amazing clients!

But unfortunately being self employment mean absolutely no income in this difficult time. No income for living,  any of the bills or for medical purposes. 

I will be making several trips back and forth to Moncton Hospital and when radiation starts, I will have to be their daily.

The money raised will be a significant help with gas money, Hotel stays and healthy meals.

Sitting my two amazing children Kaitlyn and Jayden down and breaking the news to them about having that unspeakable word “CANCER” was one of the hardest conversations I’ve ever had to have.

I am fortunate enough to have such wonderful, loving friends and family in my life to guide me through this overwhelming time.
