Help a Mother of Two Avoid Eviction After an Unexpected Abandonment.
Hello, my name is Mekenzie, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most overwhelming moments of my life. I never imagined I would be in this position, but I am facing eviction with my two children after an unexpected and devastating situation.
Recently, my ex-partner Joshua who had been the primary financial provider for our household abruptly left our home. Without any warning, he changed his card information and emptied his accounts, causing our rent payment to fail. I was left completely blindsided, with no time to prepare and no resources to cover what he had been fully supporting.
To make things even harder, my landlord is refusing to update the lease to add another person who is willing and able to help me pay the rent. Even though I have someone prepared to help, I am still being told “no,” leaving me with no option but to ask for help so my children and I don’t lose our home.
I am a stay-at-home mom, and I earn less than $1,000 a month. My income is simply not enough to cover rent on my own, especially with two children who depend on me for everything. I am doing everything I can to stabilize our situation, but right now, we are at risk of losing our home.
I am asking for help to catch up on rent and prevent my children from being homeless. Anything truly anything will help us stay in our home while I work toward rebuilding stability for my family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this, share it, or donate. Your support means more than you know.
Donations welcome on Venmo as well. @kenzisaari
