Seeking Support for Healthy Habits Massage Studio-

The past few years have been filled with challenges and obstacles. I made the decision to leave my job and move out of state to support someone close to me who was pursuing their dreams, but unfortunately, things didn't turn out as expected. Their physical and mental health deteriorated quickly, leading to frequent ER visits and hospitalizations. It changed our lives entirely. Caring for my loved one and our children became a full-time job, leading to financial devastation and extensive damage to my credit. We experienced so much loss. To say the last few years have been difficult for my family would truly be an understatement.

Despite the many challenges I’ve faced recently, I’m dedicated to building a thriving family and business here in Leavenworth. I want to move on and establish a happy and healthy lifestyle, like I had previously, for my three children. In order to accomplish my dream of opening a massage and wellness office, I have put a substantial amount of work into enclosing my carport and turning it into an office. I have worked tediously, putting together all aspects of my business.

I've been practicing massage therapy since 2013 and enjoy helping others recover to feel their best. In my office, I will offer various massage modalities that I've picked up over the years through many experiences and continuing education. Some of these modalities include Gua Sha, cupping, prenatal massage, sports massage, Shiatsu, MVA, hot stone, deep tissue, Myofascial release, and post operation recovery massage! I am also trained in infant/children massage. Massage therapy is extremely under-utilized when it comes to our little ones. It is a fantastic way to help boost immune systems during cold season and start blood circulation throughout the body to aid in the recovery of sore skiing legs!

After I become more established, I will teach classes on ways to introduce massage into your own home and what the benefits can be for infant massage, and how to! In addition to treatments, I will retail items such as clean skin care products and pain relief creams, making it easy to work with each client, addressing a wide range of needs.

By opening my office in Leavenworth, I will provide locals with better, natural, pain relief options, and better preventative care.Currently there is still a significant amount of work that needs to be done and unfortunately due to the events over the last few years, my options for funding are extremely limited. Which is why this fundraiser is crucial to making my business a success. With my office open I can provide a stable income for my family and get back to a place of financial stability.

With the funds I receive through crowdfunding, I will finish the remaining construction. This includes electrical, insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, interior and exterior trim and plumbing. As required by the city, I will also make a second parking spot. This involves hiring someone to do concrete work on the driveway, as well as moving the current fence. In addition to finishing construction, I will also attain massage supplies, equipment, retail, and any other necessities required for my business startup.
