Mom of 6 Needs Emergency Help After Horrific Abuse

Second, another of the six children has revealed they were also abused by the father. Our hearts are shattered again, especially with the understanding that we may never truly know the full extent of his abuse.
Third, we were contacted by the GFM team and asked to give more details to ensure transparency.
They specifically want to know how our beneficiary will receive the funds. The answer is that she is in the process of filing for divorce and setting up an individual bank account apart from her soon-to-be-ex-husband. We have also talked with GFM about keeping her as anonymous as possible, and when she is ready, she will have direct and sole access to these funds, revealing only her first name and last initial.
GFM also wants a detailed explanation of how the funds will be spent.
Due to the abuse the kids and mom need trauma intervention. The abuse victims need intensive therapy to recover from the long term abuse. Some of this is covered by the state, some is not. There are also legal fees involved with filing for divorce.
Because of the horrific circumstances and crimes of the father, all debts in the marriage will go to mom alone. She also will have no child or spousal support after 15 years dedicated solely to her family.
She needs help with basic living expenses like shelter and food in the immediate aftermath of gruesome crimes committed against her children, the shattering of her marriage, and the sudden and total loss of income into the home.

The recipient for this fundraiser shall remain anonymous in order to protect an innocent child and the family. The recipient will receive 100% of the funds raised here, outside of GFM fees.
Very recently, a beloved sister, mother, daughter, and friend — a dedicated stay-at-home mom to six amazing kids — discovered that her husband had been sexually abusing their child in their home.
Horrified and traumatized, she immediately reported him to the authorities to protect the child who had been abused, the rest of her children, and of course herself.
Her husband has since been arrested and bail has been set in the 8-digits. He is looking at 25 years in jail for the felonies with which he has been charged. That’s how bad the abuse was.
Thankfully, they are safe from him, but now their safety and well-being is being challenged as she tries to navigate the aftermath of his choices and abuse.
This is where she needs your help.
Like many others these days, in the middle of a terrible pandemic that has affected everyone in one way or another, they were already struggling to make ends meet as a one-income family.
She surrendered her career to stay home with the kids for the last 15 years, and relied on him to support their family. That income no longer exists, and she is facing the unspeakable and looming possibility of losing their home, and having to leave the community that her family has relied upon all these years.
Our girl is a fighter, and we have no doubt that someday she and the kids will land on their feet.
But right now, she desperately needs support and resources to help her grasp what has happened, keep food on the table, and a roof over their heads. She needs help picking up the pieces so she can move on, and create a new life for herself and her amazing children.
