As some of you may know, Melanie was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer after discovering a lump in one of her breasts. She is preparing to undergo chemotherapy, surgery, and immunotherapy so she can beat this. The doctors say the cancer is aggressive, and there is at least a two-year battle ahead of her.

Melanie is just 29 years old. She is the mother to 4 beautiful children between the ages of 2 and 10. She is the sort of mom other mothers aspire to be. Her biggest worry throughout her cancer journey so far has been to be able to provide and be the mother she wants to be for her kids. She is scared she won't be able to provide Christmas for her children or even a sustained roof over their heads.

Before the diagnosis, Melanie worked as a delivery driver for DoorDash and aspired to buy a house. A few weeks before the diagnosis, she got into a car accident that rendered her car undrivable. She was able to get the car fixed to a point that it can drive, but it still needs major repairs. She is unable to work at this time due to fatigue and constant appointments with her doctors.
