Mom of 3 Faces Stage 4 Cancer Hardships

Meet Leilani, a 43-year-old mother of three who has just received news that no one wants to ever hear - she has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Leilani is a strong-willed and kind-hearted person who has dedicated her life to providing for her family. Unfortunately, her job does not provide paid time off, and her income is based solely on commission.

It all started with stomach pains that Leilani thought were just temporary discomfort. But when the pain grew worse, she knew that something was not right. She went to the ER, and scans revealed that she had stage 4 colon cancer. The news hit Leilani and her family like a ton of bricks. As a mother of three children, Leilani was not financially prepared for the expenses of cancer treatment. Her partner has had to scale back his hours at work to help out with the children while she recovers.

Lelani had to be rushed to surgery to remove the cancer that has been causing her so much pain. The operation was supposed to take only one hour, but our brave Lelani fought through three long hours of surgery. Her spleen, along with part of her pancreas and colon, had to be removed in order to save her life. The strength and determination she showed during this difficult time brought tears to our eyes and warmth to our hearts. We can only imagine the amount of pain and discomfort she went through, and we want to do everything in our power to support her.

This cancer is known for spreading quickly, and Leilani's treatment plan requires a lot of aggressive therapy, surgery, and medications. She is fighting hard every day, but the mounting medical bills add to her stress and anxiety. Her kids are worried, and they can see how much the medical bills and lost wages are stressing their mom.
