Howdy my name is Stephanie and I am raising money for my mother Heather who is suffering from a posterior vitreous detachment. Most people will encounter this as they age as a harmless event but she also faces cataracts that require surgery. The goal is to remove the damaged and cataract covered lenses and replace them with clear lenses. Unfortunately my mother is also plagued with horrible vision and an astigmatism, so the lenses they will need to place in her eyes are expensive. While I will be able to pay for most of it myself, she is on disability and would like some extra assistance. We are asking for 7000, which is a lot of money but new eyeballs are very expensive. All of this money would towards the surgery itself and the cost of the lenses.
